Salt Fork State Park is host to 2 marinas: Sugartree Marina and Salt Fork Marina, both located conveniently inside the park. Both offer many services including boat rental, dock rental, and fishing necessities. The marinas have many different boat types from which to choose, available for rent by the hour, the day, or the week.

The Sugartree Marina also provides a private charter cruise that tours the lake for small groups and families. Salt Fork Lake is rated for unlimited horsepower. Water-skiers may take advantage of the designated ski zones. Swimming from boats is permitted in designated areas only. Boaters may camp on their boats in all no-wake zones within 50 feet of shore.
